आज हरिशयनी एकादशी, घरघरमा तुलसी रोपी मनाइँदै

नवलपुर, असार २६। आसार शुक्ल एकादशीका अवसरमा आज घरघरमा तुलसीको विरुवा रोपी हरिशयनी एकादशी मनाइँदै छ ।

हिन्दू धर्मावलम्बीका लागि महत्वपूर्ण दिनका रुपमा लिइने यो दिन निराहार व्रत बसी भगवान् श्रीविष्णु (हरि) र तुलसीको पूजा अर्चना गरेमा आफ्नो मनोकामना पूरा हुने जनविश्वास छ ।

हरिशयनी एकादशीका दिनदेखि भगवान् हरि क्षीरसागरमा शयन गर्नु हुने र कात्तिक महिनाको प्रबोधनी (हरिबोधनी) एकादशीका दिन जागा हुनुहुने धार्मिक विश्वास रहदै आएको छ ।

चतुर्मास अवधिमा श्रीविष्णु (हरि) भगवान्को पूजा, आराधना, चिन्तन, मनन, उपासना, र व्रत गर्ने मानिस भगवान् विष्णुको प्रिय हुन्छ भन्ने कुरा एकादशी महात्म्यमा उल्लेख गरिएको छ ।

हरिशयनी एकादशीको उपासना गरी ब्राह्मणलाई भोजन गराउनु, दक्षिणा दिनु, गौदान गर्नु, वस्त्रदान गर्नु आदि कार्यले मानिसका पूर्व जन्मका सबै पापको नास, पुण्यको वृद्धि भई मोक्ष प्राप्त हुन्छ भन्ने धार्मिक विश्वास रहेको छ ।

हरिशयनी एकादशीका अवसरमा आज नारायणी नदिको, देवघाट मोक्षधाम, केउरेनीधाम, गजेन्द्रधाम (त्रिवेणी) लगायतका ठाँउहरुमा दर्शनार्थीको भीड लाग्ने गर्दछ ।
