काठमाण्डौ – गृह मन्त्रालयको बढुवा सिफारिस समितिले हालै प्रहरी उच्च अधिकारीहरुको बढुवामा फेरि हलचल मच्चाएको छ। जेन्जि आन्दोलनका बेला कार्यालय प्रमुख रहेका अधिकारी विश्व अधिकारी लाई बढुवामा छुटाउने विषयमा पूर्वाग्रही सोचका कारण रोक लगाइएको थियो भन्ने आरोपपछि आम नागरिक तहदेखि प्रहरी संगठनभित्रै आलोचना भएको थियो।
कार्तिक ९ गतेको बढुवा सूचीमा एसएसपी बढुवामा एक नम्बरमा रहेका अधिकारीलाई पन्छाएर डिआईजीमा दोस्रो वरियतामा रहेका भूपेन्द्र खत्री लाई पहिलो नम्बरमा राखिएको थियो। यस कदमलाई पूर्व अधिकारीहरुदेखि आम नागरिकसम्म न्याय विरोधी र पूर्वाग्रही भन्दै कडा प्रतिक्रिया गरिएको थियो।
तर अहिले डिआईजीको एक पद रिक्त भएपछि सरकारले विश्व अधिकारीलाई डिआईजी बढुवामा सिफारिस गर्दै आफ्नो कमजोरी सुधार गरेको छ। यससँगै प्रहरी संगठनभित्रका होनहार अफिसरहरूको मनोबलमा परेको आघातलाई पनि सम्बोधन गरिएको देखिन्छ।
पूर्व अधिकारीहरूले भने, “छानविन आयोगको प्रतिवेदन नआउँदै व्यक्तिगत पूर्वाग्रहमा आधारित बढुवा व्यवहारले संगठनमा गम्भीर असन्तुष्टि सिर्जना गर्यो।”
